Set in the dark 1930s, Players assume the role of the mysterious Stranger, two-fisted monster-slaying agent of the Spookhouse, a secret investigation bureau that President Roosevelt created to combat supernatural forces plaguing the nation. The Spookhouse is staffed by a gallery of strange and memorable characters, ech of whom will help-or try to stop-the Stranger from carrying out his grisly duties.
